Krause and his team were in Cape town for the Southern Ink
Exposure tattoo convention as well as to film an episode for their
TV show about Sifu Kru Quentin "Dragon" Chong and Sibak Kru Winston
"Tiger" Chong.They decided they wanted to interview Sifu and Sibak
to find out the stories behind their tattoos, as well as the
similiarities between them and the Bruce Lee story. Another aim of
the show was to show to German tourists that Cape Town is a safe
place for them to visit.
Sifu Quentin and Sibak Winston decided to take them to Gugulethu
to show some of the work they do with under privileged children in
the area. Traditionally if you do not know the lay of the land it
can be quite dangerous to go into certain areas, but due to their
celebrity status of Sifu Quentin and Sibak Winston and the
uplifting work they do for the community are able to interact with
the locals and even discovered a local tattoo studio.
