Fight Results: UMF SA Muaythai Champs & CPT VS DBN MMA Fight Night

Fighters from around the country had been preparing for this night with full determination to earn their spot on the official National Protea Muaythai team and represent South Africa at this years IFMA World Championships in September in Uzbekistan. There was an electrical anticipation in the air as the time grew near to get started, and no fans left the evening disappointed. The venue Dragon Power Muaythai, MMA & Fitness Centre was sold out to capacity crowd wanting to see who would rise to the occasion.
Fight 1: Cruiserweight semi final -  Enreko Canty (OFS) defeated Devon Coetzee (Eastern Cape) by  TKO in the 3rd round.
Fight 2: Junior exhibition Catchweight - VS Keith Drewery (WP) defeated Kristian Kidson (GP) by unanimous points decision.
Fight 3:  Bantamweight Final - Guy "Kwazi" Lazarus (WP) defeated Mandla "Slim" Gogo by 3rd round .
Fight 4: Lightweight Final - Travis Matodes (WP) defeats Adnaan Kafaar (EC) by 2nd round TKO.
A short break from the action with a speech from Gary Trappler, IFMA Vice-president and legal advisor. As well as a demonstration from Unathi, a former Junior World Body building Champion.
Fight 5: MMA Middleweight Fight- Marcel "Little Hammer" Teniers (Dragon Power Muaythai, MMA & Fitness Centre) defeats Zulu (Panther Fighting Arts, Table View) by unanimous points decision.
Fight 6: Welterweight Finals - Lucian Birks (WP) defeats Finian Naidoo (EC) by 2nd Round TKO.
The Ubuntu B-boys gave a world class performance to keep the crowds cheering and on the edge of their seats.
Fight 7: Middleweight Finals - Jarred "Rothweiler" Rothwell (WP) defeats Yazeed Mohamed (EC) by 1st Round TKO.
Fight 8: Cruiserweight Finals -  Juan-Dre Blaine (WP) defeats Enreko Canty (OFS) by 4th round TKO.
Another short 10 minute break was had for fans to catch their breath.
Fight 9: MMA Heavyweight fight - Heinrich Ehlers (Dragon Power Muaythai, MMA & Fitness Centre) defeats Sipho Gama (Panther Pride, Durban) by 2nd round tap out by Rear Naked Choke.
Another short break was had with Sifu Kru Quentin Chong saying a thank you speech and to throw out some products for give aways.
Fight 10:  Super heavy weight Finals - Roby Streak (GP) defeats Ivan Strijdom (EC) by unanimous points decision.
Fight 11: Light Middleweight Final - Justin Sham (WP) defeats Cee Khuboni (KZN) by unanimous points decision.
We would like to congratulate all the fighters that competed on the night win or lose, and good luck to those who have earned their spot on the South African National Protea Team and will be competing in Uzbekistan in September.
